Dear March

Sunday, 1 March 2015

I haven’t written a lot recently, not of the narrative, first person kind of way anyway. I find it easier to write when I’m struggling, so I guess it’s a good thing.

Spring is possibly my favourite season, especially as it comes after winter and anyone that suffers with SAD knows how nice it is to see the sun and watch flowers start to flourish after so much rain and so many dark evenings.

I did just have a look through my phone to see if there were any pictures from February I could incorporate into this post and literally all I have is pictures of food and awful selfies, sorry.

No, but seriously February felt so stupidly long, I think I’ve become one of those people that counts down till pay day, spends all their wages in a week and then repeats over again. I feel as if the next few weeks are going to be busy considering all the relatives birthday’s, easter, Mother’s Day, re-decorating and working that needs doing.

Before I get on with beginning spring and enjoying March, I forgot to mention I’ve almost lost two whole stone, even if I did just make chocolate cake and ‘quality control’ it.

Do you have any exciting plans for the next few weeks? Have you already bought presents for Mother’s Day? Help a gal out, I’m so stuck for present ideas!
