Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs

This is a new addition to my perfume collection, it’s sweet and floral and perfect for both spring and summer. Daisy Dream is a light fragrance and is said to be a much more sophisticated version of Marc Jacobs ‘Daisy’ from 2007. I opted for the 30ml bottle as I wasn’t entirely sold on it straight away, especially as I picked it up mid winter and already had a lot of perfume to get through. As with any Marc Jacobs perfume, the bottle is gorgeous and very well designed. I’m looking forward to getting a lot more use out of this perfume in the spring!

Body Shop Vitamin E Night Cream

Until using this product I struggled to see the benefit of having a different moisturiser for the night as you do the day. I was given this sample size pot in my Body Shop Advent calendar last year, two months on and I’m only half way through the pot! This Vitamin E night cream is rich and full of hydrating ingredients which promise to replenish and restore troublesome skin overnight. Since using it I’ve definitely found my skin to be in a much better condition and much smoother in the mornings.

Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel

Coco Mademoiselle has been my go-to perfume for years on end now. I wear it to work, to parties, to the supermarket, everywhere. Every now and then someone will tell me it’s too good for everyday use and I should savour it , but whatev’s. It has a floral/citrus scent to it thanks to it’s pure rose extracts and Sicilian oranges. The base of the perfume of a combination of Indonesian patchouli, bourbon vanilla and white musk which make this the perfect fragrance for the warmer months.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula

Incorporating cocoa butter into your skin care routine is the quickest ways to achieve smooth, princess-like skin, no but, seriously it does such a good job! Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula is one of the best body moisturisers I’ve come across. it is a cult favourite amongst so many people and has been for years. Not only does it moisturise and soften the skin it also helps to reduce marks and scars. It’s completely affordable and can be found almost anywhere. One of the main reasons I am in love with this is because it dry’s almost immediately, so you’re not stood around waiting for it to dry or sticking to anything!

Tea Tree Oil

After years of testing different creams and scrubs on my skin, I decided to begin looking into aromatherapy. (by ‘looking into aromatherapy’ I literally only mean taking 5 seconds to look at the oils in Boots). I read somewhere that Tea Tree Oil works in the same way as toothpaste and dry’s out spots and sores. I have to be honest, I usually have good skin and I’m lucky enough to not break out every month but it is nice to have something there incase I do. I dab a small amount of Tea Tree Oil onto spots and blemishes and they disappear super quickly. This is also a good healing agent for coldsores and helps dry them out, obviously try not to get it in your mouth because it’s super dangerous. Tea Tree is affordable and can be found at chemists and drug stores. (And probably supermarkets).
