Lush Christmas Haul

Saturday, 22 November 2014

(I am aware that just about everyone has done there own version of this post by now but hey)

1. Lord of Misrule

Lord of Misrule is easily one of my favourite products from the Christmas range, it brings spice and warmth to any dull day with its herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. With the inspiration from the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, when you pop this in your bath it will turn your bath water a rich red wine colour, I believe Lord of Misrule also has popping candy in, which makes this bath ballistic one of the most exciting!

2. Rose Jam Shower Gel

Rose Jam is one of those scents you either love or you hate. Up until this year I’ve hated it and failed to see what all the fuss was about, but now I’ve decided I need it and it’s the best thing ever. Containing rich argan oil, organic rose absolute and rose oil, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you about the wonderful floral scent this shower gel brings! It’s SO GOOD I WILL BUY A YEARS SUPPLY!!!!

3.Cinders

Filled with popping candy and cinnamon leaf oil, this ballistic is perfect for warming you up with all its sweet and spicy aroma. It also contains sweet orange oil and almond essential oil which help refresh and nourish the skin. Who needs to sit in front of a fire when you can bathe in Cinders?! Not I.

4. So White

My absolute fave of the bath ballistics, so simple and plain but so sweet.  So White is a fresh apple scent, which once put in the bath melts away and reveals a rosy centre. The name ‘So White’ comes from the story of Snow White, anything Disney princess related is for me, so I guess that kind of makes me love it more!

5. Melting Snowman

This adorable little snowman has been sat in my drawer for a couple of weeks now, I just can’t bring myself to melt him! Melting Snowman is a Christmas spice-scented bath melt containing almond oil and cocoa butter. Anything that contains cocoa butter is a life saver for me in the colder months as it helps moisturise skin better than anything.

6. Drummers Drumming

I’m a big fan of anything you can reuse in the bath, I’m half way through using my Drummers Drumming bubble bar and by the looks of things I’ll be able to get a good 4 or 5 baths out of it. This bubble bar is made of bergamot oil, olibanum oil and geranium oil which all help to tone, relax and uplift the skin. Drummers Drumming will leave you smelling of strawberries and cream, mm.

7. Father Christmas

I fell in love with this ballistic the first time I came across it. This time I’m saving it for closer to Christmas, I think it will be more exciting this way. (Yes, I’m an adult). Once you pop Father Christmas in the bath he will turn your bath water a mystical green colour and fill the room with the sweet, sweet scent of Snow Fairy.

8. Butterbear

Nothing is quite as nourishing or good for the skin as cocoa butter and that’s why this guy is perfect for the colder months. It’s very similar to the melting snowman, i.e. with the cocoa butter and also that they’re both JUST TOO CUTE! Butterbear is smaller than most ballistics and perfectly simple. It won’t make your water neon colours or burst out with glitter when you melt it, which is why I think it’s great for a morning/midday bath.
